Introduction
We\'re working with a wide range of large, oil-soluble active molecules intended for delivery to highly innervated (and thus sensitive) areas of the human body. The actives need to reach the nerves quickly through the top layers of the skin so that a user of the substance can perceive its effect immediately.
The same actives need to be time-delayed so that they reach the nerves at a controlled rate over a period of minutes or even hours. It is also possible that perception of the active may naturally habituate over time (or sensitivity may increase, instead), so that the dose delivered over time may need to be more, less, or the same as the initial dosage. Thus dosage control is important.
Late-stage technology preferred; however, we are willing to consider early-stage (research stage) solutions as long as they have proof of concept and use available ingredients.
