This Steam Turbine Generator Co grew out of the former Beijing Heavy Electrical Machinery Works founded in 1958. The company is an electrical power equipment manufacturer specialized in the production and sale of thermal power generating units (including steam turbines, turbo-generators and their auxiliaries), wind turbine generator sets, wind power generators as well as large and medium AC motors. The company has registered capital of 740million RMB, and now has over 2800 employees, including over 350 technical personnel; it owns over 700 sets of processing equipments (mainly of digital control) with excellent equipment level and complete test and inspection facilities; the land occupancy is 260000m2, including 180000m2 building area, and in other regions of China has production bases of 30000m2. It has the production capacity of annual thermal power generator 4000MW, wind power generator over 400MW, and double fed asynchronous wind power generator and AC motor 1000MW.

Cooperation demand description:
It is known that the geothermal energy reserved in the main sedimentary basins of China is 73.6billion of 100 million kilo-joule equivalent to coal standard 250billion tons. The minable resource amount of the geothermal energy of China is 6.8billion m3 per year, including geothermal amount of 973 trillion kilo-joule equivalent to power generation of 32.84million tons per year. The geothermal power generation has the advantages of minor investment of power station construction, simple system, and low operation cost. At present, the geothermal power generation installed capacity in the world has reached 9000MW, among them, USA, Philippines, Mexico, Indonesia and Italy respectively ranked top5 in the world. The Yangbajing geothermal power plant of Tibet of China now has the installed capacity of 24.18MW and ranked 15th in the world, each year the power generation is approx. 140GWh (million KWH). The 75-100MW installed capacity high temperature geothermal power generation construction project has been listed in the economic and social development long term planning of China in 2010. The company hopes to cooperate with the institutions and enterprises in abroad via the means of technical import, technical cooperation, and project subcontracting, etc.
