Respiratory disease is among the first three causes of death in China, and over 80% of severely ill patients need to receive respiratory therapy. In China, about one million people die of respiratory failure each year, and five million to a billion people are disabled due to respiratory failure. As an important aid in treating respiratory diseases, heart & lung diseases and clinical emergencies, breathing machines are essential in saving lives, first aid and long term respiratory therapy and it is a necessary piece of equipment in hospitals at all levels. In the Chinese domestic market, over 8,000 sets of breathing machines are needed yearly, of which more than 4,000 are breathing machines for severe diseases. Breathing machines are typical high-tech medical equipment combining mechanical and electrical applications. This Chinese company hopes to cooperate with an international professional breathing machine developer and manufacturing enterprise to realize domestic production in China through importing whole machine technology, whole machine production licenses, joint ventures and other methods.
