Terms and Conditions

 Our remuneration for all products sold through Agency agreements will be by      way of commission from the manufacturer upon the invoice price of all goods sold      to customers.


 For products purchased on your behalf through our ‘buying service’ a      percentage commission will be added to the buying price.  This is usually 10%.


 Product Sourcing and Supplier Sourcing services are charged at a fixed fee.


 Either our standard daily fee or a fixed fee will be charged for all 'Research',      'Project Support' work. (Subject to periodic review)

 

 Regarding ‘Supplier Appraisals’ the following should be noted: The final      appraisal of the Supplier is formed on the basis of the checks carried out.  By      undertaking the Appraisal a buyer is considered to be acting with ‘Due Diligence’      to minimise the risk of fraud. While such a process should significantly reduce the      risk of fraud in no way can it be guaranteed to be 100% fool proof.   When      instructing a ‘Supplier Appraisal’ it is agreed that Galliard Lockings Associates will      not be held responsible for any omissions, mis-information or deception on the      part of the potential Supplier that is not uncovered during the checking process.       Further, Galliard Lockings will not be held responsible for any loss which may      result directly or indirectly from reliance on the content of the Supplier Appraisal.

 

PAYMENT

 Payment of commission for Agency related work is subject to the stipulations of      our 'Agency Agreement'.

 Payment for Product Sourcing and Supplier Sourcing services is to be paid for in      full upon submission of client instruction.

 Payment for all 'Research' and ‘Project Support' work is to be received by us as      follows: 50% upon signing our ‘Terms of Business’ and then upon receipt of our      monthly invoice.

 Payment for all ‘Supplier Appraisal’ and ‘Pre-shipment Inspection’ work is to be      received by us as follows: 50% upon submission of your instruction and the final      50% before the actual visit.

 Payment for samples is by way of 100% upon placing an order.

 Customers can make payments by 'Paypal' or telegraphic transfer (T/T) to either      our Chinese or UK bank accounts. Please note that a $18 incoming T/T wire      transfer charge is added to all invoices where payment is made by telegraphic      transfer.

NON-DISCLOSURE

 Galliard Lockings Associates does not disclose any client or project information to      any third party. If you require us to sign your non-disclosure agreement please      send it to us for review and signature.
